We have spent fifty years telling computers exactly what to do. Now we can tell them roughly what we want. Both approaches are dangerous. Perl and Raku can provide the hard edges around AI - grammars, types, invariants, permissions, approval gates and observable evidence - and inside those boundaries an agent can try small reversible actions and learn from what happens.
AI can generate a thousand ideas before lunch. It cannot tell you which one is worth protecting. AI helped invent the mechanics, write the cards and produce the print files for a real card game; human playtesters then demolished the clever bits and showed where the value was hiding. Expect narrowboats, sinkholes, ruthless pensioner playtesters and one registered trademark.
